Description
The issue concerns the storage of sensitive information, including the GitHub Personal Access Token, Sonar access token, and Sonar password, which are stored unencrypted in the global configuration file on the Jenkins controller. This allows users with access to the Jenkins controller file system to view these tokens and passwords.
Recommendations
For Jenkins GitHub Pull Request Coverage Status Plugin versions 2.2.0 and earlier, update to a version that properly encrypts sensitive information in the global configuration file to prevent unauthorized access.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
