Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
The Go Pricing - WordPress Responsive Pricing Tables plugin versions up to, and including, 3.3.19
Description
The issue allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions and above to inject a PHP Object via deserialization of untrusted input from the 'go pricing' shortcode 'data' parameter. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 3.3.19, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent PHP Object Injection. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the 'go pricing' shortcode to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the
data parameter in the 'go pricing' shortcode until the issue is resolved.Fix
