Description
The issue concerns server-side request forgery (SSRF), where attackers can leverage enclosed alphanumeric payloads to bypass IP filters. This would allow an attacker to read crucial metadata if the server is hosted on the AWS platform.
Recommendations
For Nextcloud Server versions prior to 24.0.8, update to version 24.0.8 to resolve the issue.
For Nextcloud Server versions prior to 23.0.12, update to version 23.0.12 to resolve the issue.
For Nextcloud Enterprise Server versions prior to 24.0.8, update to version 24.0.8 to resolve the issue.
