| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.15.0 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. It may allow a remote attacker to conduct cross-site scripting attacks using a specially crafted link. If a low-privileged attacker can convince a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, malicious JavaScript content may be executed within the context of the victim's browser.
Recommendations
For versions 6.5.15.0 and earlier, consider disabling access to vulnerable pages until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable
Experience Manager module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using links that reference vulnerable pages in the affected Experience Manager until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.XSS
