CVE-2023-22253
CVSS v2.0
5.5
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.15.0 and earlier
Description
The issue is related to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. If a low-privileged attacker can convince a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, malicious JavaScript content may be executed within the context of the victim's browser. This vulnerability is also associated with a lack of protection for the web page structure, which could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For versions 6.5.15.0 and earlier, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue to prevent exploitation of the reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages until a patch is available.
