CVE-2023-22252

CVSS v2.0

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.15.0 and earlier
Description The issue is related to a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. It can be exploited if a low-privileged attacker convinces a victim to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, potentially leading to the execution of malicious JavaScript content within the victim's browser. The vulnerability is associated with the lack of protection for the web page structure, allowing a remote attacker to conduct cross-site scripting attacks using a specially crafted link.
Recommendations For Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.15.0 and earlier, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable pages until a patch is available. Avoid using links that reference vulnerable pages in the affected software until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
