Description
The issue is related to the incorrect implementation of security checks for standard elements in the Intents function of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to conduct spoofing attacks using a specially crafted HTML page. The estimated number of potentially affected devices is not specified.
Recommendations
For Google Chrome versions prior to 111.0.5563.64, update to version 111.0.5563.64 or later to resolve the issue.
For Microsoft Edge, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
