| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
gAppointments WordPress plugin versions 1.9.5.1 and earlier
Description
The issue concerns the gAppointments WordPress plugin, which does not properly sanitise and escape some of its settings. This could allow high-privilege users, such as administrators, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This is possible even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example, in a multisite setup.
Recommendations
For gAppointments WordPress plugin versions 1.9.5.1 and earlier, update to a version that addresses the sanitisation and escaping of settings to prevent Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
