CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions peplink Surf SOHO HW1 version 6.3.5
Description An OS command injection issue exists in the admin.cgi MVPN trial init functionality. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to command execution. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger this issue.
Recommendations For version 6.3.5, consider restricting access to the admin.cgi MVPN trial init functionality until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the ability to make authenticated HTTP requests to the vulnerable functionality. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
