CVSS v3.1
4.3
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Jenkins OctoPerf Load Testing Plugin Plugin versions 4.5.2 and earlier
Description
A missing permission check in the plugin allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to enumerate credentials IDs of credentials stored in Jenkins. This can be used as part of an attack to capture the credentials using another vulnerability. The issue is related to an HTTP endpoint that does not perform a permission check.
Recommendations
For versions 4.5.2 and earlier, consider restricting access to the affected HTTP endpoint until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, ensure that only authorized users have Overall/Read permission to minimize the risk of exploitation. Update to version 4.5.3 or later, which requires appropriate permissions for the enumeration of credentials IDs.
Fix
Improper Access Control
Missing Authorization
