VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Screen Creator Advance 2 versions 0.1.1.4 Build01A and earlier
Description The issue is related to improper restriction of operations within the bounds of a memory buffer. This can be exploited if a user opens a specially crafted project file, potentially leading to information disclosure and/or arbitrary code execution. The vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code using a maliciously crafted file.
Recommendations For versions 0.1.1.4 Build01A and earlier, avoid opening project files from untrusted sources until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to project files to minimize the risk of exploitation.
