CVE-2023-3011

CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions ARMember plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 4.0.5
Description The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the arm check user cap function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to perform unauthorized actions via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 4.0.5, update to a version that includes the fix for the missing or incorrect nonce validation on the arm check user cap function. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the arm check user cap function until a patch is available.
