Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Jenkins Thycotic Secret Server Plugin versions 1.0.2 and earlier
Description
A missing permission check in the Jenkins Thycotic Secret Server Plugin allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to enumerate credentials IDs of credentials stored in Jenkins. This issue affects the plugin's handling of HTTP endpoints, enabling attackers to potentially use the enumerated credentials IDs as part of an attack to capture the credentials using another vulnerability.
Recommendations
For Jenkins Thycotic Secret Server Plugin versions 1.0.2 and earlier, consider restricting access to the plugin's HTTP endpoint until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, review and limit the Overall/Read permissions to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
