CVE-2023-3055

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Page Builder by AZEXO plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.27.133
Description The issue is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the azh save function, making it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update post content and inject malicious JavaScript via a forged request. This can happen if attackers can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.27.133, consider disabling the azh save function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to the plugin's functionality to minimize the risk of post content updates by unauthenticated attackers. Avoid using the plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
