VectorAV:A/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Tesla Model 3 (affected versions not specified)
Description This issue allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected Tesla Model 3 vehicles. An attacker must first obtain the ability to pair a malicious Bluetooth device with the target system in order to exploit this issue. The specific flaw exists within the bsa server process, resulting from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length heap-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this issue to execute code in the context of an unprivileged user in a sandboxed process.
