CVE-2023-34196

CVSS v3.1

8.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:L
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Keyfactor EJBCA versions prior to 8.0.0
Description The issue is related to an authentication problem in the RA web certificate distribution servlet, specifically at the "/ejbca/ra/cert" endpoint. This can lead to a partial denial of service. Additionally, in configurations that use OAuth, there is a risk of disclosing CA certificates, including attributes and public keys, to users who are either unauthenticated or have lower privileges.
Recommendations For versions prior to 8.0.0, update to version 8.0.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "/ejbca/ra/cert" endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation.
