Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
peplink Surf SOHO HW1 version 6.3.5

An OS command injection issue exists in the data.cgi xfer dns functionality. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to command execution. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger this issue.
Recommendations
For peplink Surf SOHO HW1 version 6.3.5, consider restricting access to the data.cgi xfer dns functionality until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the ability to make authenticated HTTP requests to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
