Description
The issue is related to a free of an uninitialized pointer in the
xlsxioread sheetlist close() function, which can be exploited by attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted XLSX file.Recommendations
For versions 0.1.2 through 0.2.34, consider disabling the
xlsxioread sheetlist close() function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to crafted XLSX files to minimize the risk of exploitation.Exploit
