Description The issue allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted .tsv file when creating a new record. This is a result of a CSV Injection vulnerability in the GNOME time tracker.
Recommendations For GNOME time tracker version 3.0.2, consider disabling the creation of new records using .tsv files until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using manipulated .tsv files to prevent arbitrary code execution. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
