Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
mySCADA myPRO versions 8.26.0 and prior
Description
The issue is related to insufficient checking of arguments passed to a command, allowing an authenticated user to inject arbitrary operating system commands. This could enable a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code in the operating system.
Recommendations
For mySCADA myPRO versions 8.26.0 and prior, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using parameters that could be exploited to inject arbitrary operating system commands. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
