Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Core component of Oracle Health Sciences InForm. It allows a high-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction and may impact additional products. Attacks can result in unauthorized access to data, including update, insert, delete, and read access, as well as a partial denial of service.

Recommendations For versions prior to 6.3.1.3, update to version 6.3.1.3 or later. For versions prior to 7.0.0.1, update to version 7.0.0.1 or later. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Core component until a patch is available. Restrict network access via HTTP to minimize the risk of exploitation.
