Description The vulnerability is related to insufficient input validation in the MySQL Server component, specifically in the Server: DDL subcomponent. This issue can be exploited by a high-privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols, potentially leading to a denial-of-service (DOS) condition, such as a hang or frequently repeatable crash of the MySQL Server, as well as unauthorized access to modify, add, or delete data.
Recommendations For versions 8.0.32 and prior, update to a version that includes the fix for this vulnerability. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
