Description
The issue is related to the libcms cli module in the NETGEAR RAX30 router's software, which lacks proper input validation. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of root. Although authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability, the existing authentication mechanism can be bypassed. The specific flaw exists within the libcms cli module, where a user-supplied command is not properly validated before being used to execute a system call.
