Description
The issue arises from a lack of permission check in an HTTP endpoint, allowing attackers with Overall/Read permission to clear the SQS queue. This can be exploited by attackers who have the necessary permissions, potentially leading to unauthorized access and disruption of services.
Recommendations
For Jenkins AWS CodeCommit Trigger Plugin versions 3.0.12 and earlier, update to a version that includes the necessary permission checks for the HTTP endpoint to prevent unauthorized access.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
