| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
lockss-daemon versions prior to 1.77.3
Description
The issue is related to post-Unicode normalization, which may allow bypass of intended access restrictions. This can occur when certain Unicode characters, such as U+1FEF, are converted to other characters, like a backtick.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 1.77.3, update to version 1.77.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive areas where Unicode normalization could be exploited until a patch is applied.
