Description
The issue is related to improper validation of requests sent to the web interface, which could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition or execute arbitrary code with root privileges on an affected device. This is also due to a buffer overflow vulnerability related to the lack of size checking of input data, which could be exploited by a remote attacker using specially crafted data.
