Description The issue allows a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system by sending a specially crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to view arbitrary files on the system.

Recommendations For IBM License Metric Tool version 9.2, consider restricting access to the system until a patch is available, and avoid using URL requests that could be used to exploit the directory traversal issue. As a temporary workaround, consider implementing additional validation on URL requests to prevent "dot dot" sequences from being processed. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
