Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
evolution version 3.2.3
Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted payload injected into the
cmsadmin, cmsadminemail, cmspassword, and cmspasswordconfim parameters. This enables the attacker to perform unauthorized actions on the system.Recommendations
For evolution version 3.2.3, consider disabling the parameters
cmsadmin, cmsadminemail, cmspassword, and cmspasswordconfim as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to these parameters to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
