CVE-2023-4500

CVSS v3.1

4.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Order Tracking Pro plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 3.3.6
Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the order status parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers, with admin or higher privileges, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can trick a user into performing an action, such as clicking on a link. The issue specifically affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered html has been disabled.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 3.3.6, update to a version higher than 3.3.6 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the order status parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
