CVE-2023-4834

CVSS v3.1

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Red Lion Europe mbCONNECT24 and mymbCONNECT24 and Helmholz myREX24 and myREX24.virtual versions up to and including 2.14.2
Description The issue is related to an improperly implemented access validation, allowing an authenticated, low-privileged attacker to gain read access to limited, non-critical device information in their account that they should not have access to.
Recommendations For versions up to and including 2.14.2, consider restricting access to sensitive device information until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, review and limit the privileges of low-privileged attackers to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
