CVE-2023-5243

CVSS v3.1

4.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Login Screen Manager WordPress plugin versions 3.5.2 and earlier
Description The issue allows high-privilege users, such as admins, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks, even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example, in a multisite setup. This is due to the plugin not sanitizing and escaping some of its settings.
Recommendations For versions 3.5.2 and earlier, update to a version that addresses this issue, as using outdated versions may expose the system to Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
