Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Digirisk plugin for WordPress version 6.0.0.0
Description
The issue is related to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the
current group id parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.Recommendations
For version 6.0.0.0, consider disabling the
current group id parameter until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to pages that utilize this parameter to minimize the risk of arbitrary web script injection. Avoid using the current group id parameter in affected pages until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.XSS
