| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
UserPro plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 5.1.1
Description
The issue is related to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on multiple functions. This allows unauthenticated attackers to add, modify, or delete user meta and plugin options.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 5.1.1, update to a version that includes the necessary nonce validation to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to functions that handle user meta and plugin options until a patch is available.
