Description
The issue is related to an Access of Uninitialized Pointer vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file, specifically SBS files. This vulnerability is associated with the parsing of these files.
Recommendations
For Adobe Substance 3D Designer versions 12.4.1 and earlier, consider avoiding the opening of untrusted SBS files until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the use of the SBS file parsing functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation.
