Description The issue is related to a pci device refcount leak in the nv1a ram new() function. This problem was introduced in version v3.14 and is fixed in Linux Kernel version v5.10.158. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.
Recommendations For versions prior to v5.10.158, update to Linux Kernel version v5.10.158 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the nv1a ram new() function until a patch is available.
