Description
The issue is related to the
dm thin component, where it uses the last transaction's pmd->root when a commit fails. This problem was introduced in version v3.2 and is fixed in version v6.0.18. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.Recommendations
For Linux Kernel versions prior to v6.0.18, update to version v6.0.18 or later to resolve the issue.
