Description A memory leak was discovered in the ocfs2 mount volume() function. The issue was introduced in version v2.6.30 and is fixed in Linux Kernel version v6.0.16. The actual impact and attack plausibility of this issue have not yet been proven.
Recommendations For Linux Kernel versions prior to v6.0.16, update to version v6.0.16 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the ocfs2 mount volume() function until a patch is available.
