Description
The issue is related to a memory leak in the ACPI table handling. It was introduced in version v4.18 and is fixed in Linux Kernel version v5.15.87. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.
Recommendations
For Linux Kernel versions prior to v5.15.87, update to version v5.15.87 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider applying the fix from commit 638cd298dfebce46919cbd6cf1884701215f506d to mitigate the memory leak.
