Description
The issue concerns null pointer dereferencing in the
find dup cset node entry() and find dup cset prop() functions. This problem was introduced in version v5.0 and fixed in version v5.15.86. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.Recommendations
For Linux Kernel versions v5.0 through v5.15.85, update to version v5.15.86 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the affected functions until a patch is available.
