Description The issue is related to the processing of POP3 "capabilities" responses, which are not limited to plausible sizes. An attacker with access to a rogue POP3 service could trigger requests that lead to excessive resource usage and eventually service unavailability. The accepted POP3 server response is now limited to a reasonable length/size. There are no known publicly available exploits.
