Description
The issue is related to errors in processing input data in the Core component of Oracle WebLogic Server, part of Oracle Fusion Middleware. It allows a high-privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise the server. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data, including creation, deletion, or modification, as well as the ability to cause the server to hang or crash repeatedly, leading to a denial of service.
Recommendations
For versions 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.1.0.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
