Description
The issue is related to errors in data serialization within the JavaSerializationCodec class of Inductive Automation Ignition. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations without requiring authentication. The problem stems from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, leading to the deserialization of untrusted data. An attacker can leverage this to execute code in the context of SYSTEM.
