Description
A Use After Free vulnerability could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This vulnerability is related to the use of memory after it has been freed, which may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 23.003.20244 and earlier, update to a version later than 23.003.20244 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 20.005.30467 and earlier, update to a version later than 20.005.30467 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Acrobat 2020, Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020, Adobe Acrobat Document Cloud, and Adobe Acrobat Reader Document Cloud, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of font parsing functionality until a patch is available. Restrict access to malicious files to minimize the risk of exploitation.
