Description The issue is related to an Access of Uninitialized Pointer that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, such as opening a malicious file. The vulnerability is associated with the processing of embedded fonts. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by using a specially crafted malicious link or file, potentially allowing them to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 23.003.20244 and earlier, update to a version later than 23.003.20244 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 20.005.30467 and earlier, update to a version later than 20.005.30467 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Acrobat 2020 and Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020, consider disabling the font parsing functionality as a temporary workaround until a patch is available.
