Description A Use After Free vulnerability could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. The vulnerability is related to the use of memory after it has been freed when handling Doc objects. It may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted malicious link or file.
Recommendations For Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 23.003.20244 and earlier, update to a version later than 23.003.20244 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 20.005.30467 and earlier, update to a version later than 20.005.30467 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Acrobat 2020 and Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020, consider disabling the handling of Doc objects until a patch is available as a temporary workaround. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability for some versions.
