Description The issue is related to incorrect security UI in the BFCache component of Google Chrome, allowing a remote attacker to spoof the contents of the Omnibox (URL bar) via a crafted HTML page. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to conduct spoofing attacks.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 116.0.5845.179, update to version 116.0.5845.179 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to potentially vulnerable web pages until the update is applied.
