Description The issue is related to the use of the assert() function or a similar operator in the eprosima Fast DDS library. A malformed GAP submessage can trigger an assertion failure, causing FastDDS to crash. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations For versions prior to 2.10.0, update to version 2.10.0 or later. For versions prior to 2.9.2, update to version 2.9.2 or later. For versions prior to 2.6.5, update to version 2.6.5 or later.
