Description The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the stack of the DDP service in the D-Link DAP-2622 wireless access point firmware. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. The flaw exists due to the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length stack-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root. No information is provided about the estimated number of potentially affected devices or real-world incidents.
