Description
The issue is caused by a buffer overflow vulnerability in the
firewall handler set function, allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. This occurs due to the use of an unsafe sprintf pattern in the vtysh ubus binary. A specially crafted HTTP request can trigger this vulnerability, which involves the ip and mac variables.Recommendations

firewall handler set function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation.
