Description
The issue is related to a missing password confirmation in Nextcloud Server, which allows an attacker to create app passwords for a victim after stealing a session from a logged-in user. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to modify the user's password.
Recommendations
For Nextcloud Server versions 20.0.0 through 20.0.14.14, update to version 20.0.14.15 or later.
For Nextcloud Server versions 21.0.0 through 21.0.9.12, update to version 21.0.9.13 or later.
For Nextcloud Server versions 22.0.0 through 22.2.10.13, update to version 22.2.10.14 or later.
For Nextcloud Server versions 23.0.0 through 23.0.12.7, update to version 23.0.12.8 or later.
